Poplar
Like a Big Dipper at a funfair, this is a 4th March 2023 view from DLR unit 138, from Woolwich Arsenal to Bank, to the west of Blackwall station where the westbound and eastbound lines temporarily part company to allow cross-platform interchange with the Stratford to Canary Wharf service at Poplar. My train is descending to serve the outer edge of the south side island while trains heading east after calling at the outer edge of the north island soar high above the Stratford branch, giving a great view of Poplar depot. The line from Stratford via Bow Church to Canary Wharf serves the inner edges of the two islands.
