Tamworth High Level
I'm not sure whether it's 'Farewell My Lovely' or 'The Long Goodbye', but there's definitely something Raymond Chandler about 43.303 leading 1V50, an Edinburgh to Plymouth working, on the bridge over the WCML. Very impressive trains after 46 years; quiet and comfortable with a great seating environment that the designers of the Pendolino could have learned much from. We can enjoy this for about six more weeks on XC trains.
