The Noran Water has cut a deep tree-lined ravine which was crossed by the Forfar and Brechin Railway using this partly demolished viaduct, of which only the abutments remain. The view is from alongside the southern abutment. This was the second biggest bridge on the line, after the bridge over the South Esk.
