1Z55 the 07.52 Deltic hauled special working from Kings Cross, headed by 55009 Alycidon, is seen approaching the home signal protecting Rider Lane level crossing at Howsham, between York and Malton, on the outward journey to Scarborough on 19 August 2023. It has gained the 'Harry Wilson Centenary' headboard en route. The return working to the Cross is booked to leave Scarborough at 17.10. West Coast Railways loco 47813 was on the rear for shunt release at Scarborough.
