Venice Santa Lucia
A train approaches Venice across the rail bridge which links the island to mainland Italy, alongside the later road bridge. This view also shows the single rail in the carriageway below an overhead line. This is for the Venice Streetcar system, whose articulated trams run on rubber tyres but are guided by the rail.
