Bridge No 95
Morning sunshine illuminates a deserted Borders Railway works site on Boxing Day 2013. The view is north from Plumtreehall Brae, Galashiels, with bridge no 95 centre stage. Originally constructed to carry the Waverley Route over the Gala Water, the bridge had become part of a walking and cycling route following closure of the line in 1969.
