ScotRail Class 156 Sprinter No 156437 viewed from Platform 3 having newly arrived (on time) from Carlisle and terminated at Kilmarnock Station's Platform 4 (as the line north to Barrhead was temporarily closed at the time), 01 Aug 2023. The train crew disembarked just after the passengers so unit was obviously stabling at Platform 4 for a while at least, the corresponding southbound service having just preceded it from Platform 3. Buses for Barrhead and beyond were queued up in the station car park.
