Kershopefoot
The wayside station at Kershopefoot, Cumbria, lay just south of the Kershope Burn, marking the border between En gland and Scotland. Closed as part of the Waverley Route in January 1969, little sign remains of the station itself, although the former station masters house and adjacent booking office survive. Photograph taken in November 2007 looking west from the entrance gate to what is now a refurbished private residence.
