Shotts East Goods

The North British Railway provided a goods station in Shotts served by the line which ran from Westcraigs Junction to Blackhall Junction. It was known as Shotts until 09/1952 when BR renamed it Shotts East. The section from Blackhall Junction to Shotts is recorded as closing on 06/03/1950 with the end coming on 17/06/1963 when the remainder of the line from Westcraigs was taken out of service. The NB line through Shotts crossed the CR line not far east of the station.
