Hendon
Hendon station, up platform, seen from 700057 with a Thameslink service to St. Albans City calling at the down platform, at 13.03 on Saturday, 25th November 2023. It is actually in West Hendon, which would be a more accurate name, and was opened with the Midland Railway's London Extension to goods on 9th March 1868 and to passengers on 13th July of the same year. It was completely rebuilt during the first stage of the Midland Main Line electrification in the early 1970s.
