This shot of a Metro Cammell DMU at Alloa is believed to have been taken in the course of a 1969 Railway Society of Scotland railtour of Central Scotland. The timetable for the tour included reversal at Alloa, although the Six Bells Junction website nowadays suggests that the train actually turned back at Throsk without crossing the Forth. But this photo suggests that the train did reach Alloa as per the original timetable.
