Surviving Victorian building at west end of up local platform, now the Elizabeth Line, at West Drayton on New Year's Day 2024. Once the junction for branch lines to Uxbridge Vine Street and Staines West, these are both now closed, that to Uxbridge on 10th September 1962 and to Staines West on 29th March 1965 (see image 88604) Today there is no sign of Uxbridge Vine Street though it features in the 1957 comedy film 'The Smallest Show On Earth', for which it was temporarily renamed to the fictitious 'Sloughborough'.
