Coppull [2nd]
DRS 66434 slowly lifts a heavy stone train up towards the summit to the south of Coppull, before the descent towards Wigan. This was the daily Network Rail working from Shap Summit Quarry to Basford Hall Yard on 10th January 2024 and had probably been held at Balshaw Junction before joining the now two track section. Also passing the scene is 390114 with a Euston to Blackpool North service.
