Glencruitten Crossing
After cresting Glencruitten Summit, 47712 'Lady Diana Spencer' rolls down the gradient past Railway Cottages towards its destination of Oban on the second day of the 'West of Scotland Push-Pull Tour' starting from Edinburgh. Having seen a Deltic and HST visit the town in recent years it is rather surprising that this was apparently the first visit of a Class 47 to reach the terminus of the line.
