Elliot Junction
Elliot Junction signal box in December 1977. It closed in 1978. The island platform passenger station was accessed from the footbridge and closed on 4th September 1967. The stub of the Carmylle branch survived to serve the Metal Box factory until 1984 or so and the signal controlling access to the mainline can be seen just to the right of the `box.
