Swindon Works
Collett 1931 introduced GWR 4MT 6100 Class 2-6-2T 6136, in ex works condition, is seen on Swindon Works on 9 June 1963. The 6100 class was designed for use in the London Suburban area, with a higher boiler pressure of 225 lb, and a 3000lb higher tractive effort compared to the earlier 5100 Class.
