Stoke Canon [2nd]
GWR 150 celebrations brought steam down to the West Country several times during 1985. It was very much a great year for steam enthusiasts. All did not go to plan though. Here we see 4930 and 7819 near Stoke Canon, north of Exeter St. Davids, with plenty of smoke and steam, returning from Plymouth to Bristol. In 2024 there are very few mainline passed GWR locos.
