Ardrossan Harbour [1st]
TSS Mona's Isle awaits departure from Ardrossan Winton Pier with a passenger sailing to Douglas IOM in summer 1978. She was built by Cammell Laird, Birkenhead and launched in 1950. Her maiden voyage was in 1951 and she was withdrawn from service in 1980.
In the background can be seen the boat train connection from Glasgow at Ardrossan Harbour station which was replaced in 1986 on a different site.
