Looking south from the former Littlehamar Road level crossing along the course of the Hagdale Chromate Railway, a horse-worked 2ft 6in line from Hagdale Quarry to Sandison Pier on Balta Sound. The sheds there can be seen in the right background. This section of line lasted from 1907 to 1927.
