Skipton [2nd]
45562 'Alberta' passes Skipton Station South signal box on 5th August 1967, with the 06.40 Birmingham to Glasgow Central. The Jubilee, which would have taken over the train on the Whitehall Curve at Leeds, worked through to Carlisle over the S&C and performed well that day. At Carlisle a Britannia took over for the remainder of the journey via Dumfries.
