Looking northerly along the east side of the substantial former railway three arch stone bridge over the River Skell, with an access road at each side, which is located around 3/4 mile south of the former Ure Viaduct, and Ripon station. After closure it had a new wider deck laid on the structure as part of the creation of the A61 Ripon south and east by-pass. The original parapets appear to have been re-erected on the new deck. This view shows the deck extension created on each side of the original structure to form the (overly) wide single carriageway over it.
