Castleton South Junction
66112 runs towards Manchester with a 'Binliner' service for Knowesley near Kirkby on 17th April 2024. The train is just south of the Castleton triangle passing through Slattocks, where there have been many proposals for a new station but they have yet to come to fruition. In the foreground is the overflow to the Second Laneside Lock on the Rochdale Canal, which closely follows the line between Castleton and Mills Hill.
