Changes underway at the east end of Waverley in January 2006. At the bottom left New Street bus depot is now boarded up ready for demolition, while across the road the new Edinburgh Council headquarters is under construction. In the background, work is in progress on the IECC extension to the Edinburgh signalling centre.
