Edinburgh Waverley
The north side of Waverley on 8 June 2006, with the new Balmoral platform under construction on the left. The passenger about to disappear through the hole in the wall will soon reappear in the Princes Mall retail complex, this being the current route between the station and Princes Street via the temporary bridge. The stripped down deck of the original bridge stands just beyond, with the exit to Waverley Steps sealed off. See image 9657
