South Acton
Zoom lens view from Bollo Lane level crossing along the freight-only link from the Hounslow Loop towards the London Overground with South Acton station in the distance, at 15.29 on Saturday, 20th July 2024. The LO line from Richmond, which also crosses Bollo Lane by level crossing, can be seen coming in on the right. This link line was used until 1940 by a Broad Street to Kew Bridge service and sometime ago, a Basingstoke to Colchester service via this and the North London Line was started but didn't last long. I cannot find any information about its dates.
