Staddlethorpe Junction
A shot of Staddlethorpe Junction taken circa 1973 looking west.
The station ( behind the photographer ) and the junction were renamed Gilberdyke in Feb. 1974 and the train in the shot is heading in the direction of Goole. The tracks straight ahead are for Selby. At some time the four track section was reduced to double track and the station platforms were widened accordingly.
