Ipswich
Five orange Class 90s, stabled to the north side of Ipswich station on 13th July 2024, with a further green 90 hidden behind. The visible locos were 90005, 06, 08, 13 and 41 and the first four will have passed here regularly when used on passenger trains from London to Norwich. Most operators to Felixstowe use diesel power but many Freightliner services are electrically hauled to here and then hand over to a Class 66 for the short journey to Felixstowe. The stabling sidings to the east of the station are not presently in use and very overgrown.
