Coombe Junction

Coombe Junction station in March 1970. The train is a working from Looe which is reversing at the station prior to continuing to Liskeard. The track on the left was at that time a freight branch to Moorswater and in the background is the GWR mainline to Penzance and behind that a pier from the original viaduct ( 1859 ) which was replaced in 1881.
