Scorton [Lancashire] [2nd]
West Coast Railway's 86401 'Mons Meg', still in Caledonian Sleeper blue, heads north at Scorton with empty Northern Belle stock returning from Euston to Carnforth on 28th July 2024. The previous day the stock had been used on an excursion from Euston to Carlisle, steam hauled from Carnforth by 34067 'Tangmere'. 47848 was on the rear of the train on both days.
