Wooden Gate Junction

Empty alumina tanks from Fort William approach the crossing at Wooden Gate Junction, south of Alnmouth, headed by GBRf 66740 'Sarah' and destined for North Blyth on 23rd June 2024. Up and down passenger loops are still in use but the mineral line to Shilbottle Colliery, served by the junction, is closed and now in use as a footpath.
