Brodick Pier
MV 'Cowal' at Brodick. The photograph is thought to date from 1971, during the relatively short period of operation of the Fairlie-Brodick-Tarbert ferry service. The service had been intended to replace the Gourock-Tarbert 'Royal Route' service which ended in May 1970, but the new service did not last long and finished at the end of September 1971.
