Hunstanton

An example of 1960s 'rationalisation' was Hunstanton, seen here at the start of August 1968. The 2-car DMU waiting to return to Kings Lynn looks insignificant in a station created to handle numerous long trains during the summer peak season and is a reflection of changing holiday patterns in the UK at that time.
Passenger services came to an end on 5th May 1969.
