Southport
A reminder that the Merseyrail 507s are not quite done yet. On the weekend the 507 Farewell special tour was taking place, 507003 was brought out to cover for a failed Stadler 777 on 2nd November 2024, and is seen here at Southport waiting to form a service to Liverpool Central. It has been reported that the few remaining 507s will remain on the books into December on these standby emergency duties.
