Mural at the entrance to the 1968 Blackhorse Road LU Victoria Line station, also served by London Overground, on Thursday, 24th October 2024. This entrance was adapted slightly in 1981 when new walkways and a footbridge were added to the re-sited British Rail platforms (London Overground since 2015) to provide a direct connection between the two (lifts have since been provided) and which saw the separate 1894 station on the opposite of the road closed and subsequently demolished. Prior to 1981, interchange passengers had to come out of one station, cross a busy road, and then go into the other.
