Upton
Upton, an unstaffed station serving a housing area on the western outskirts of Birkenhead. This view looks towards Heswall on a wet 16th October 2024. The facilities are very basic but there is now a 45 minute interval service connecting with the Merseyrail Wirral line service at Bidston, a very short distance away, and over 18,000 passengers used the station in 2022/23.
