Haymarket MPD
Quite a long time resident in the scrap line at Haymarket depot in 1974 was 40162. I was sad to see this as I had plenty of runs behind this loco when it was working. A long term Edinburgh Haymarket based loco, this engine was condemned on the 5 December 1982 but remained at Haymarket until June 1985 when it was moved to Millerhill, and cut up during 1986.
