London Victoria

Stanier Black 5 4-6-0 no. 44871 (1945), at London Victoria at the head of The Railway Touring Company's Armistice Day excursion to Canterbury West, at 08.12 on Monday, 11th November 2024. With 47812 at the rear, the train departed at 08.48, travelling via the Catford Loop, Bromley South, Maidstone East and Ashford International with a two hours break in Canterbury. The return was via the Minster curve, Sandwich, Deal, Dover Priory and Folkestone West to Ashford International, then via Tonbridge, Sevenoaks and Bat & Ball, rejoining the outward route at Otford.
