Bredbury

The 100mph CAF DMUs look a little incongruous on all stations services around south Manchester, once the preserve of Pacers. Here 195102 pulls away from Bredbury, with a Sheffield to Manchester service, on 30th October 2024. The station appears to be one of the newer ones on the line but in fact opened in 1875. However it was substantially rebuilt and modernised in 1976. The footbridge is the only means of access to the Manchester bound platform.
