Princes Risborough

Just south of Princes Risborough, the double track separates with the up line passing through Saunderton Tunnel on an easier gradient than the down line, although this was partly rebuilt on a new alignment which avoided the original summit. These changes took place circa 1905. In this shot from August 2004 the DMU is heading to Marylebone as 60096 heads for Calvert with a load of spoil from Kings Cross.
