Exterior of Charing station, Kent, on the Maidstone East line, opened by the London, Chatham & Dover Railway on 1st July 1884, at 10.43 on Monday, 11th November 2024 so 140 years old this year. Seen during a stop by The Railway Touring Company's Armistice Day excursion from London Victoria to Canterbury West and return, behind Stanier Black 5 4-6-0 no. 44871 (1945).
