Lednock Bridge

Directly west of Comrie station the line to Balquhidder crossed over the River Lednock (left of bottom centre). The station site is on the other side of the main road. The line crossed the Lednock by a large girder bridge, since removed although the parapets remain. There was a series of three bridges here. To the south is bridge of Lednock, carrying the A85 over the river. To its north was the railway bridge and to its immediate north was another road bridge (which was built at the same time as the railway), now removed but replaced by a footbridge. The latter bridge can be mistaken for the railway bridge.
