Morningside [CR]
The remains of Morningside station in 1979, which closed to passengers on 1st December 1930. The view is looking east and in the background is the site of the NB station which succumbed a few months earlier on 1st May 1930.
The line through the station closed on 15th July 1974 when it was cut back from Castlehiill Junction ( the BRB boundary for Kingshill No. 3 Colliery ) to Stirling Road GF.
