Comrie Viaduct

The line west to Balquhidder ran through here on its approach to the Comrie Viaduct over the River Earn - the first of four bridges over the Earn between Comrie and St Fillans. The course of the line through Comrie has been largely obliterated. Just west of the former Comrie station it is a car park, then a footpath, a series of houses, another car park, a dental surgery and another house before reaching the Earn. This view looks west from the car park over the A85 to the surgery.
