Hamilton Central

Not a lot remains at Hamilton Central of the Caledonian Railway station, the main feature being the former southside booking office and entrance on Kemp Street, and that is now starting to look somewhat rundown. This view is from 24th October 2024 and although the bas-relief lettering is still with us it is now partially obscured by tree growth. On the right can be seen a tablet showing 1906, the date of construction. For a comparison shot from 2006 see image [[9044[].
