Saltburn Cliff Lift Lower Station
In a view of the Saltburn Cliff Tramway, taken from the ascending Marske side car, the descending Saltburn side car certainly doesn’t disguise the fact that you’re on a gradient of 1 in 1.4 (71%). Refurbishment work carried out in 2017/18 included the installation of flat bottomed track at 4ft 2.5in gauge fixed to steel girders.
