Doncaster Works
47635, all painted up and smart for the Doncaster Works 2003 open day. It entered traffic on 29th July 1964 as D1606, becoming 47029 under the TOPS scheme in 1974. It was fitted with Electric Train Heat in January 1986 and renumbered 47635. Previously named 'Jimmy Milne' it was renamed 'The Lass O'Ballochmyle' at this open day. It survived into preservation and is operational, in large logo livery, on the Epping Ongar Railway.
