A view looking east over the former level crossing at Dalchonzie Platform. The line was to the left of the signal box with the timber platform of the halt on its left. There was a siding too, beyond the signal box. Dalchonzie Siding was the original name of the halt. The walk east to Comrie along the line is fairly difficult with long ploughed out sections, missing bridges and forestry. Going west to St Fillans is considerably easier as there is a small frequently used car park at Dalchonzie and the route is an official footpath.
