158860 and 158843, with the ex-11.53 Northern service from Newcastle to Ashington, calling at Seaton Delaval on the First Day of the reopened line, just over 60 years since it closed to passengers in 1964, looking back towards Newcastle, at 12.10 on Sunday, 15th December 2024. Only this station and Ashington opened on this day. Those at Northumberland Park, Newsham, Blyth Bebside and Bedlington will open sometime in 2025.
