Morecambe Harbour
Morecambe Harbour station on 12th December 2024. 120 years after the last passengers passed through it is still in year round use as a cafe on Morecambe's Stone Jetty. Behind is the LMS built Midland Hotel. See image 19102 from the same position in 2008 when the hotel rebuild was nearing completion after many years of dereliction. If the Morecambe Bay Eden North project comes to fruition as planned it will really improve the town's fortunes, and hopefully have a positive impact on the railway from Lancaster too.
