The sun is just emerging as Heaton allocated 156472 runs ecs from Preston Carriage Sidings to Lancaster to begin its duties on 13th November 2024. The 156s in the Heaton fleet spend a lot of time on Cumbrian Coast duties, and this unit had worked down the previous evening on the 1909hrs from Carlisle. After another day on the coast it will refuel and stable overnight at Barrow Carriage Sidings.
